Tomorrow: Join Me for a Post-Session Town Hall
Saturday, March 7, from noon to 1:30 at the IU Northwest Center Bergland Auditorium.
Dear neighbor,
On Saturday, March 7, I am hosting a post-session town hall with my colleagues, State Reps. Earl Harris (D-East Chicago), Ragen Hatcher (D-Gary), and State Sen. Mark Spencer (D-Gary). The town hall will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the IU Northwest Savannah Center Bergland Auditorium (65 West 33rd Ave., Gary, IN, 46408).
We’ll discuss the bills that made it across the finish line to the governor’s desk and the biggest issues of this legislative session. One of the bills includes Senate Enrolled Act 27, which creates a funding mechanism for the state to help the Chicago Bears potentially build a new stadium in Hammond.
